HTC Outs Desire C, ICS For The Masses

Ah HTC, it seems like the company practically announces a new Android handset every other week. This weeks flavor appears to be the HTC Desire C – the ‘C’ presumably standing for ‘Camel’. Meanings or lack thereof aside, the HTC Desire C brings some the latest version of Android  into the budget space. This smartphone is packing a 3.5-inch LCD display with a paltry resolution 320×480, a mere pittance compared to practically every other handset released by HTC in recent times. Samsung Galaxy SIII Is Official

Well it took a while but the Samsung’s 2012 flagship Android smartphone has finally made its way out of the woodwork, and boy is it nice. So what are the specifications of this long awaited phone? It packs a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display with an HD resolution of 1280×720. Powering this display is Samsung’s  recently announced, in-house silicon, the quad-core Exynos CPU clocked at 1.4GHz, and paired with 1GB of RAM. As for the camera? Intel Powered Lava XOLO X900 Gets Official Release Date, Pricing

At the end of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012, Intel showed off a new Android handset that was scheduled to be released in India at some point later this year. For those of you India, the Lava XOLO X900 now has an official price and release date. It is scheduled to release on April 23 for $424 USD (roughly 22,079 INR). HTC To Start Selling 2012 Flagship Lineup In Europe On April 2nd

That was quick! After announcing their 2012 lineup at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012, HTC is finally allowing wireless carriers in Europe to start selling it’s latest Android smartphone’s on Monday, April 2nd. The HTC One X, One S, and One V, will officially go on sale in the United Kingdom, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany on Monday. Quickly followed by a bevy of other European countries. Panasonic Eluga Practically Available In Japan, Europe Waits Until April

Panasonic has decided to jump the gun on a simultaneous Japanese and European launch of  its latest flagship Android phone, and has instead decided to release its latest Android phone in Japan to consumers a month before the European market gets to pick it up.  As of March 26, the Panasonic Eluga has been available on NTT Docomo. Other Japanese wireless carriers will start selling the phone on March 29. The reason for the European delay of this highly praised phone is unknown at present.
